All Ages

Early Treatment

We check for early signs of functional imbalances in and around the mouth. Many of the signs are things you can check for at home— snoring, mouth breathing, and frequent colds and ear infections. We may be able to help and are learning that interventions in kids as early as 3-4 years of age, can improve development and reduce future issues.

Teen

Teen and pre-teen patients usually have most of their adult teeth and they are growing rapidly. We have many flexible options to maximize results. We work hard to motivate these patients to maintain hygiene and make treatment efficient.

Adult

Adult treatment is tailored to address your specific concerns. Even though these patients are no longer growing, we have more options to achieve results that previously were thought impossible.

Expansion

RPE

Historically this technique was limited to patients with dental crossbites. CBCT technology helps us see that many patients without obvious crossbites have narrow jaws. Palatal expansion can be tailored to patients between 3 and 13 years of age.

MARPE

Miniscrew-assisted rapid palatal expansion is used to widen the upper jaw by applying gentle pressure to the palate and teeth. This method uses small, temporary implants and is frequently the best option for palatal expansion in patients older than 13. It can be used even in adults who have finished growing.

Braces

LightForce 3D Printed Clear Braces

LightForce 3D printed ceramic brackets allow us to plan the final position of your teeth before we even attach braces to them. We are encouraging all patients to opt for these braces due to faster appointments, more precise outcomes, and improved esthetics.

Traditional

Traditional metal braces are the tried-and-true standard. They offer excellent flexibility even in demanding or changing situations. Dr. Alex will often recommend these braces for early treatments or situations where teeth are impacted (this is when a tooth is trapped).

Clear Aligners

In-House

In-house aligners are custom-crafted aligners made directly in our office (via uLab). They provide the same discreet and effective teeth-straightening benefits, with the added advantage of quicker fabrication times.

Invisalign®

Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gradually straighten your teeth. Numerous proprietary techniques are available with this system to improve aligner effectiveness. We frequently recommend Invisalign aligners to patients with esthetic concerns, porcelain restorations, or gum recession.

Holistic Treatments

Airway-Focused

Airway-focused treatment prioritizes the health of your breathing pathways, ensuring that orthodontic care supports proper airflow. By addressing issues like narrow palates or misaligned jaws, we help improve both oral function and sleep quality.

Latex-Free

Our practice is committed to patient safety, which is why we only offer latex-free materials in our treatments. This ensures a comfortable and safe experience for those with latex allergies, without compromising the quality of care.

Advanced Materials

We offer innovative dental materials that are fluoride-free and even BPA-free. Many of these materials are very new to orthodontics and we are proud to provide them by request.

Technology

CBCT

Cone Beam Computed Tomography provides detailed 3D images of your teeth, jaws, and surrounding structures (including airway). Our Planmeca CBCT machine is state-of-the-art in providing this detail at ultra-low dosages—giving us the confidence to ditch legacy 2D imaging techniques.

iTero Lumina 3D Intraoral Scans

The iTero Lumina 3D intraoral scanner captures photorealistic digital impressions of your teeth, eliminating the need for messy molds. This technology gives you the fastest, most accurate, and most comfortable experience available.

3D Printed Metal Bands

Our dental lab partners produce 3D printed metal bands that eliminate the need for painful separators or traditional metal bands. These bands often fit better and are more reliable than traditional options.

AI Remote Monitoring

AI Remote monitoring rocks! It helps us see your progress on a weekly basis and provides us with useful alerts to minimize delays in treatment. We can see broken brackets, poking wires, problem brushing areas, and poorly fitting aligners often before you can. As a bonus, it automatically creates animations to help you track your progress.
